GunaSankeertan, The Epitome of ShreeSaiSatcharit
Many
different ways of Bhakti (Devotion) have been described in BhaktiMaarga. All
Saints love to keep performing the Gunasankeertan (praising, chanting the attributes
& glories with gratitude & love) of God.
Saint
Tukaram says- God, I'll keep doing Gunasankeertan with pleasure. ShreeSaiSatcharit
is nothing but the Gunasankeertan of Shirdi Sainath done by Hemadpant. Hemadpant
has mentioned about the different ways of Bhakti in ShreeSaiSatcharit.
It
is mentioned in ShreeSaiSatcharit that the intense & exclusive love of
Shraddhavaan towards the Sadgurutattva is expressed in nine different processes
or forms or modes or facets. These nine facets are called as Navavidha Bhakti
& GunaSankeertan is one among them.
Praising,
chanting the attributes & glories with gratitude & love is called as GunaSankeertan. It fills the devotee’s
whole being and enables the devotee to open his heart and to accept the love of
SadguruTattva more & more.
In GunaSankeertan , the elevation process of mind
fastens & it acts as a cleaning out process, which eventually purifies the
mind from unwanted tensions and emotions.
While doing GunaSankeertan, the devotee experiences
the actice presence of SadguruTattva
& starts living a fearless joyful blessed life.
It is written in ShreeSaiSatcharit that in
Kaliyuga, reciting the name and singing the praises of SadguruTattva is a
simple means of salvation.
SaiNaath’s words explain the importance of GunaSankeertan. He says, “Whoever sings my praises, I will
bestow upon him the joy peace and contentment. Believe fully in this as the
Truth.”
The word GunaSankeertan is used by Hemadpant in
this verse of ShreeSaiSatcharit & the epitome of ShreeSaiSatcharit is GunaSankeertan.
GunaSankeertan can be done by anybody anytime &
anywhere. It does not require any special skill. You don't have to follow any rules,
regulations and restrictions.
So Let us be in the GunaSankeertan of
SadguruTattva.
Hey Sadguru! I'm surrendering myself to you through
GunaSankeertan. I'm sure that My Sadguru always take care of everything.
GunaSankeertan is the easiest way to be Ambadnya
forever. Sadguru Shree Aniruddha! Bapu, You have lightened this path for me.
I'm Ambadnya!
